In the course of our work we are naturally privy to very confidential information. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us and we will not violate the trust you put in us. We manage the information that you provide in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 (New Zealand). Almora Unlimited is committed to the protection of your personal privacy and will fully comply with the Information Privacy Principles contained in Section 6 of the above Act (your right to access your information held by us).
We guarantee that we will not violate your privacy. Information deemed as private or confidential provided to Almora Unlimited will not be abused, sold or distributed to third parties unless a confirmed request is received from a legal authority. None of your personal information will appear on our web site, be exposed to the public domain or used anywhere by Almora Unlimited without your prior consent. You have full control of your information and your information can be removed from our databanks at anytime upon your confirmed request.
Terms & Conditions
Despite the unique nature of what we do, Almora Unlimited is run as a business entity and we therefore respectfully request that you adhere to the usual practices of good faith when entering into a contract with us.
Any booking resulting from an inquiry whether confirmed verbally, electronically or in writing will be subject to these terms and conditions. These terms & conditions are in place to protect both us and you. You are responsible for ensuring that you are familiar with and abide by our latest terms and conditions prior to committing to making use of our services. We are responsible for making these easily available to you.
In order to reflect the fact that our business is growing constantly, these terms and conditions may be amended in whole or in part by Almora Unlimited from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon posting of the amended terms and conditions on our Website. We have made every effort to word these terms and conditions in plain English, with clarification of various clauses where necessary. If you do not understand any part of these terms, please ask us for clarification.
Almora Unlimited, Almora Unlimited Directors or employees will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages or be held responsible or accountable in any way for the ramifications of ANY advice supplied to clients. The advice given is not designed to replace medical, psychological, legal, mental or any other professional advice or services under any circumstances.
All members of the populace consulting with Almora Unlimited are responsible for their own welfare at all times. The advice supplied to all participants is designed to be an aid for personal advancement only. For the purposes of Law all advice supplied by Almora Unlimited is for entertainment purposes only.
Intellectual Property Rights
This section pertains to the Intellectual Property Rights of all electronic communications, electronic resources (including text, documents, media, graphics, logos, icons, sound recordings and visual recordings), printed matter, concepts and other material underlying and forming part of Almora Unlimited Services.

You may not without our prior written permission, in any form or by any means: Adapt, reproduce, copy, store, distribute, print, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of any electronic communication, electronic resource, electronic document, printed matter or concept, or commercialise, copy, or on-sell any information, or items obtained from any part of any electronic communication, electronic resource, electronic document or printed matter or concept.
What are the penalties for copyright infringement? New Zealand Law.
Where copyright is infringed, the copyright owner may bring a legal action against the infringer to recover damages or an account of profits. Damages is monetary compensation paid to the copyright owner for loss suffered in respect of the infringement. An account of profits is the profit made by the infringer from their infringing activities.
In some circumstances, a person may commit a criminal offence if they make, import, sell, hire or distribute infringing copies of works. Criminal liability can attract fines of up to $150,000 and imprisonment for up to 5 years.

Our copyright policy, privacy statement and disclaimers cover any electronic communications or resources provided by Almora Unlimited. This includes all images, names, text, content or any other information provided via our web site, e-mail or electronic documents.
All information on this web site (including statements, opinions and any other content) may not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Administrator or Employees of Almora Unlimited.
We may collect the IP address of your computer, which is recorded to the server log. If we collect your IP address, it will be utilized only for the purpose of solving server problems and Website administration, and will not personally identify you in any way. We do not use ‘cookies’ on our web site.
Almora Unlimited endeavour to avoid plagiarising any content on our material. If it is the case that information has been used previously we urge any affected parties to contact us immediately in Good Faith.
It is our policy to supply all electronic information in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat Reader required) wherever possible.
Security is of primary concern to Almora Unlimited, and we take active steps to ensure that our data is safe. If any parties are found to be abusing or compromising our systems they will be banned from services provided by Almora Unlimited for life and will face legal action.
We do not condone spam of any type and comply fully with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (New Zealand). The exceptions are express, inferred and deemed consents as mentioned in the Act.

Almora Unlimited will retain ownership of an electronic communication or resource after it has left our domain and reserves the right to make changes to any of our electronic material at any time.
The term ‘Event’ includes all workshops, retreats, channelling evenings or any other arrangements hosted or facilitated by Almora Unlimited. We expect participants at our events to keep the experiences of other group members confidential.
Please note that the onus is on you to provide us with any information which you feel may affect or compromise your experience at any event (including but not limited to: allergies, medical conditions, past trauma, general preferences, etcetera). It is the participants obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit and able to embark upon an event.
Almora Unlimited retain the intellectual property rights for all manuals and recorded sessions. Therefore, these may not be shared without our prior written permission, in any form or by any means.
Right of Admission
Right Of Admission is Reserved (ROAR) by Almora Unlimited for all events. For the benefit of all participants,we reserve the right to accept or reject any participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants. The same applies to participants who violate these terms & conditions.
Almora Unlimited will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred if it has to terminate a participant’s attendance for these reasons.
Investment for Events
A non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation for all events (unless otherwise specified). As we have limited numbers your place cannot be confirmed until this is paid. The balance is due no later than 28 days in advance of the event. This does not apply to regular Channelling Evenings, which need to be paid for in advance and are nonrefundable. Or early bird payments for courses or retreats where last date is outlined on booking.
Payment of your deposit, or part thereof, is an acceptance of these terms & conditions. Please note there is a 100% no refund policy on deposits for all our events.
Event Cancellation Fees
Deposits are totally non refundable or transferable. Please make sure you have travel insurance to cover health or financial hardship.
Not all travel insurances have the same cover, please check this with your travel agency.
Cancellations made within 3 months of an event will incur a 100 % cancellation fee.
Cancellations made more than 3 months in advance will incur a 75% cancellation fee.
Full payment is expected and will be charged for non-notification of cancellation.
No partial refunds or exchanges may be given for unused portions of any event.
Almora Unlimited reserves the right to change this cancellation policy at any time.
Payment of your deposit is an acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Accepted forms of payment are; Bank transfer/deposit (ASB bank), PayPal; overseas bank account number (only by prior arrangement).
Any cash sent via post or per hand, which becomes mislaid in transit, is not recognised by Almora Unlimited as payment.

Strictly No Soliciting
You may not without our prior written permission, in any form or by any means solicit before, during or after any Almora Unlimited event.
Solicitation is defined as any activity that seeks to make contact with participants, to collect information, sell items, or gain support from participants, or to promote (their themselves or others) for commercial purposes.
This policy applies to a wide range of activities that may include: advertising, selling, petitioning, campaigning, distributing flyers, business cards, or surveying participants by telephone, mail, e-mail, or in person.
International Tour Specific Conditions
These conditions pertain to any international tours facilitated by Almora Unlimited.
Please note there is a 100% no refund policy on deposits for all tours unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations up to 120 days in advance 50% of the tour fee will be refunded.
Cancellations within 90 days will incur a 75% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled within 28 days are generally Non refundable.
Please check as each tour may vary.
We are not responsible for your Visa, passport or your overseas travel arrangements; so please ensure that your travel documents, insurance and arrangements are in good order. Some countries you may travel to require vaccinations and visas. PLEASE make sure that you have researched this information in plenty of time.
In order to enter other countries you will need to hold a valid passport, which may need to have at least (6) months validity beyond the trip and a return ticket. Please contact the relevant authorities if in doubt.
We recommend that you arrive pre tour one to two days prior to the tours departure date. Especially after long haul flights.
If your flight is cancelled or delayed, and you miss our departure meeting point, you will be responsible for getting yourself to our destination and all cost that is incurred.
Also bear in mind that traffic and transport delays can be common in certain countries.
Some of the day’s activities maybe changed around at times when unforeseen circumstances arise. We ask that you are flexible and open to changes that may arise on our journeys for being in the moment is part of the adventure.
Having travel insurance is a non-negotiable condition of joining us on this tour. We cannot have you along if you do not have travel insurance. All participants must have a full Travel Insurance policy in place by the time the full payment is made to cover loss / delays / illness /cancellations prior to or during this trip. Please ensure it covers emergency evacuation and full cancellation for unforeseen circumstances.
We won’t be responsible and will be excluded from liability for any loss, damage, omission or acts being negligent or otherwise, committed by the operators of airlines, rail travel, accommodation suppliers or attractions used in connection with this tour. We aren’t responsible for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of Government, or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action.
In addition, we will not be responsible for any losses arising, directly or indirectly, from; the refusal, failure or inability of any company or organization, including but not limited to any airline, other transportation provider, hotel, car rental agency, booking agent or other provider of travel or tourism related services, by reason of their own Financial Default or the Financial Default of any person, company or organization with whom or with which they deal.
If the event is altered, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled or rendered inadvisable, impracticable or impossible due to a fortuitous event or unforeseen occurrence we shall not be liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising from a failure to perform any term of this contract.
As a part of the booking form we will require the name of the company as well as your policy number. Do ensure that your policy fully covers delays, cancellations of flights and accommodations as this tour is not refundable. It is advisable that extra insurance be taken out to cover computer and camera equipment.
It is unlikely; however we will require the details of a designated emergency contact person in case it is required. These details will remain confidential, please advise them that they are your designated emergency contact person.
Considerable care has been taken to compile the information in our website and brochures but circumstances may necessitate changes in itineraries and costs in which case you will be informed as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any changes which may occur and reserves the right to increase the price of any travel arrangement up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation fuel surcharges airfare increases as well as international exchange rate fluctuations.
Full payment of the event fees are a condition of joining this tour. Please note there is a 100% no refund policy on all payments and deposits for this tour. Payment of your deposit is an acceptance of our terms & conditions. No partial refunds or exchanges may be given for unused portions of the accommodation or transport fees.
Photos, Maps & Hotel Descriptions
Hotel descriptions featured on our website & brochures are based on current hotel guides and contractual agreements provided by suppliers. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routes, location or services. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.
Medication & Health Matters
The tour participant acknowledges being aware of the proposed itinerary and it is the participant’s obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit and able to embark upon such a tour.
Please ensure that you have a full supply of any medications required during this trip. You are responsible for all charges that result from a visiting a medical facility, or for a medical practitioner visiting you. We are not responsible for the type or quality of the medical services you may receive.
We will ask you for any medication that you may require, this information will only be used if medically required and will be held in the strictest confidence. You are also responsible for any vaccinations that are required.
No responsibility is accepted for the loss of or damage to baggage or any of the tour participant’s belongings throughout the duration of the tour. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant.
For the benefit of all tour participants, we reserve the right to accept or reject any participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants. Almora Unlimited will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred if it has to terminate a participant’s attendance on this tour for these reasons.
